Drug Addiction

I have been addicted to drugs in the past, and at one time was drinking 3 cases of beer a week + liquor + cocaine + marijuana. I was doing a lot of prescription drugs as a teenager. I realized what it had done to me, and also that I was too weak to overcome the desires for drugs that I had within me. I couldn't quit even if I wanted to do so. Knowing I was helpless, and that my life was marked by many sins, I called on Jesus to save me from my sins and the just punishment I deserved.

What I found was a Savior who not only dies for my sins, but offered me life and freedom from booze and drugs. And this He offers to any who call upon Him. Please consider what He said in the Bible,in the Gospel of John, chapter 8, verses 32 and 33. This was spoken to some who had believed on Him:

" If you abide in my word you are my disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."

What was the freedom of which He spoke? The answer is in verses 33 and 35 of the same chapter, when Jesus said:
" whoever commits sin is a slave of sin... .if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed."

Jesus is the Son of God and has the power to make you free from the slavery you have to the sin of drug addiction. Please believe on Him today as your Savior and receive the grace and freedom and peace He freely offers. Feel free to write for more practical and spiritual help.
